Opening to Queries!
Just a heads up on this dusty site. I will be opening to queries this week, Monday, November 3rd until Friday November 7th. I plan to open the first of each month for a week so that I have the rest of the month to respond to those queries.
What I’m looking for at the moment:
- Very selective Middle Grade and YA. Contemporary, Historical and Fantasy. High Concept. Unforgettable characters.
- Adult Romance. Contemporary, Historical and Fantastical/Romantasy. Cozy fantasy and RomCom fantasy in the vein of Assistant to the Villain. Dark Academia and Gothic vibes like Anathema and A Study in Drowning.
- Psychological and Domestic Thrillers that focus on generational trauma, deep buried family secrets.
- I’m not one for traditional horror, but if you have vampires in the vein of Sinners or AMC’s Interview with the Vampire I’d love to see that.
- Very selective historical. Historical Women’s Fiction outside of the World Wars. I’ve devoured the House of Guinness and Peaky Blinders (a little late, I know) and would love to find more stories in that vein.
What I am not looking for:
- Hard boiled detectives
- Serial killer focused thrillers
- Historical set during Ancient History, the Civil War or the Vietnam Era
- Epic fantasy
- Sci-fi/Cli-fi
